29-08-2024I got this for a wedding gift for a colleague. It's a heavy dish and feels solid and durable. It holds two sticks of butter in it. Very classy.

29-08-2024My big dogs developed a taste for butter. This keeps it out of their reach, is attractive and solid, has a seal around the lid so I don't think any insects could get in, and the pottery helps soften the butter by absorbing the cold, but it also insulates it from heat a bit, so it doesn't melt as fast on hot days. I also like the top lid, so if the butter has melted a little, the drips are contained & not 'gluing' my butter dish together. I'm very pleased.Highly recommend.

29-08-2024I've been thinking about something like this for a while and was glad to find this when I finally got around to searching. The seller should mentioned that the lid has a silicone seal which makes the product better. It was a little bigger than I imagined, but as the picture shows, it comfortably holds an 8oz butter bl9ck.
