26-08-2024I purchased this to replace a vent phone holder that automatically open and closed on the sides based upon a motion sensor. Sounded like a great idea but it was very frustrating as it sometimes would not open when you wanted to and other times it would open when you didn't (if you were tapping the touchscreen). The prior holder also did not really attach strongly to the vent so it vibrated a lot. It also did not have a height adjustment so the phone was right in front of the vent and got quite hot in the winter when I had to turn on the heat. This product solves all of those problems. It attaches very securely to vent. While not automatic, putting the phone in or taking it out of the holder is super easy. For a cheap piece of plastic it has a very solid feel to it. The height adjustment is also great and works very well so now I have it raised above the vent which prevents the phone from getting very hot and also allows heat to come into the passenger area. Getting a simple product that actually works well is sometimes not as easy as it sounds. This is one of them.

26-08-2024This phone holder is just as advertised…reasonable cost, easy to install, adjustable height, holds phone firmly in place and doesn’t interfere with flow of the air vent. Love it.
